His Excellency the Minister of Finance inaugurates the Customs Training Center



The Minister of Finance, Salem bin Breik, inaugurated today the Customs Training Center (CTC) at Customs Authority Headquarter in Aden, with the support of the Economic Recovery and Livelihoods Program (ERLP) of the USAID project.
Minister Ben Brik praised the importance of the customs training center in building the technical capabilities of customs cadres, which would improve the level of performance of customs work.
The chairman of the Customs Authority, Abdul Hakim Al-Qubati also valued the support provided by the Economic Recovery Program to enhance customs work, contribute to the implementation of the authority’s plans and enhance customs revenues.
The ERLP representative,Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Awdi, indicated that this support aims to enhance the capabilities of the Customs Authority to achieve self-sufficiency, and to achieve its goals with skill and professionalism, foremost of which is facilitating trade and enhancing commercial compliance.
